It’s like superglue. It is expected to hold. It’s expected to keep one thing attached with another. Rarely is it used for what it’s intended for. Rarely is it thought about logically. Time withers it down. The bond weakens on one side due to the constant pulling and stretching it puts up with to hold the two together.
It’s stubborn. It doesn’t want to free the bond for fear of being judged. Being judged for not fulfilling it’s duties. Not living up to the expectations set forward by society. But eventually it gives in. The two are no longer together and everything that was thought before was a lie. It gets looked down upon when this happens, but when it survives. When the bond remains unbroken, it’s like the universe; ever growing, hard to explain and something that will last forever.
